PROJECT INFORMATION:
The community of Rafter J has a population of approximately 1,500 people.
Presently, the community has a water supply system supplied by two wells
and a 200,000 gallon storage tank. The system serves 500 homes and 25
commercial taps. The system was originally designed to include three
wells and an additional tank. The Association is in the process of
forming a water and sewer district.
The plans and work conducted by the developer need to be updated and
verified. A Level II analysis directed at the identified problems could
lay the ground work to complete the system.
RECOMMENDED LEGISLATIVE ACTION:
The WWDC recommends the project be incorporated into the New Development
Program at Level II status with an appropriation of $60,000.
