Level II 46 1997 I $45,000   1998
Level III 38 1998 I $137,000* 2001

PROJECT INFORMATION:
The Town of Encampment received a grant appropriation of $137,000 for 60% of the WWDC eligible portion of the project. The remainder of the project is financed by the town from other sources.

The purpose of the project is to connect the raw water irrigation pipe network to the town cemetery. Funding is also provided to connect the town's drinking water system to the Sierra Madre Water and Sewer Joint Powers Board water system. Project components are primarily pipe, valves, and fittings necessary to make the connections functional.

The Town of Encampment has executed the project agreement with the WWDC and hired an engineer for design and inspection services. It is expected that the town will perform the work and provide its share of financing from a capital facilities tax.

RECOMMENDED LEGISLATIVE ACTION:
No legislative action is recommended.
