2000 LEGISLATIVE REPORT
Active Projects
104. | PROJECT: | Sundance Tank | | | | | |
| LEVEL: | New Application |
| SPONSOR: | Town of Sundance |
| LOCATION: | Crook County |
| PROGRAM: | New Development |
PROJECT INFORMATION:
The town of Sundance proposes to install a 280,000 gallon storage
tank, approximately 1500 feet of 8-inch water line, 500 feet of
6-inch water line, and associated fittings and controls. This
storage facility will replace a 66,000 gallon tank constructed in
the 1930's and provide storage to a present pressure zone which
currently has no storage. A geotechnical report, completed for the
chosen tank site, demonstrates that the site is acceptable for the
proposed project. The Level II study was completed by the town.
RECOMMENDED LEGISLATIVE ACTION:
The WWDC recommends the project be incorporated in the New Development
Program at Level III with an appropriation of $325,000. The financing
plan includes a grant of 60%, $195,000, and a loan of 40%, $130,000 at
7.25% interest for 20 years.
