PROJECT INFORMATION:
Work completed under the 1997 Level III construction appropriation includes replacement of pipe from the in town wells to the storage tank with larger pipe and rehabilitation of the valves on the storage tank. The 1999 Level III construction appropriation authorizes replacement of one in town well, new pumps, controls and disinfection equipment, new wells and storage tank west of town and a pipeline from those wells to town. The in town well replacement is complete, and the control building contract should be complete prior to the summer of 2001. The new wells west of town will be designed and constructed in 2001, with the storage tank and pipeline to follow. RUS is funding 40% of this project and 50% of the previous work not funded by the WWDC.
