PROJECT INFORMATION:
The town of Encampment undertook construction of a new diversion facility and 1,800 feet of
transmission line in 1986. Encampment would now like to pursue phase two of that project and
enclose the remaining 6,200 feet of open ditch in a pipeline. The total project is estimated to cost
about $668,000. The request at this time is for only the final design and specifications portion of
the project at an estimated cost of $60,000.
RECOMMENDED LEGISLATIVE ACTION:
The WWDC recommends the project be incorporated into the Rehabilitation Program at Level II
with an appropriation of $60,000. The financing plan is a grant of 50%, $30,000, and a loan of
50%, $30,000, for a period of 20 years at an interest rate of 7.25%.
