PROJECT INFORMATION:
The State Engineer's Office (SEO) has requested matching funds to continue the position of
Conservation Officer. This is a program where the Bureau of Reclamation provides matching funds
to promote water conservation in the state, and has been in place for the past two years.
RECOMMENDED LEGISLATIVE ACTION:
The Commission recommends that the conservation staff position in the State Engineer's Office be
funded through a $50,000 appropriation from the New Development Account.
