Active Projects
99. | PROJECT: | Ranchester Master Plan | | | | | |
| LEVEL: | New Application |
| SPONSOR: | Town of Ranchester, Incorporated
Municipality |
| LOCATION: | Sheridan |
| PROGRAM: | Rehabilitation |
PROJECT INFORMATION:
The Town of Ranchester would like a reconnaissance level evaluation of their water system and
distribution. This would include evaluation of storage capacity and future needs, current treatment
methods and possible alternatives, intake facility, and back-up power supply. This project will
coincide with another study currently being done for Dayton, which will look into the costs and
feasibility of forming a regional system between Dayton and Ranchester with a consolidated water
source. Work done on Ranchester's master plan will be coordinated with the ongoing level II study
in Dayton.
RECOMMENDED LEGISLATIVE ACTION:
The WWDC recommends the project be incorporated into the Rehabilitation Program at
Level I with an appropriation of $75,000.
