PROJECT INFORMATION:
The Town of Saratoga would like to continue the planning process initiated with the Level I
master plan update completed in 2002. They would like to evaluate the potential of developing a
ground water supply to supplement their surface water supply. To do this a ground water
exploration program will be undertaken. The test wells are estimated to cost $180,000. If a
groundwater supply can be developed, a pipeline and other appurtenances will need to be
designed to tie the well or wells to the existing system.
RECOMMENDED LEGISLATIVE ACTION:
The WWDC recommends the project be incorporated into the New Development Program at
Level II with an appropriation of $180,000.
