PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The sponsor has an existing storage tank, which has served the district for more than fifteen years.
Recently it has been observed that the tank is exhibiting differential settlement which is stressing
the connecting piping, which is located in the control house.
This application is for funds to stabilize the settlement and modify the pipe connections and
controls. The sponsor is requesting a grant for half the cost of the project and will provide the
remaining funds with their own funds and money from Campbell County.
The SPONSOR has retained the services of an engineer to design the changes necessary to
correct these deficiencies.
RECOMMENDED LEGISLATIVE ACTION:
