PROJECT INFORMATION:
The Smiths Fork Irrigation District is being required by the State Engineer's Office to provide
better measurement of the diversion of water into their system. As a result they are asking for the
WWDC's help in purchasing three flumes. The flumes will be installed at the head of the Covey
Canal, in Burner Creek, and in Spring Creek. The district will provide the engineering,
permitting, and installation required for this project.
RECOMMENDED LEGISLATIVE ACTION:
The WWDC recommends that this project be incorporated into the rehabilitation program at
Level III with a project grant of $15,000.
