PROJECT INFORMATION:
The Carpenter Water and Sewer District received a grant appropriation of
$360,000 for 67% of the WWDC eligible portion of the project. The
remainder of the project is financed by RUS and WFLB. The purpose of
the project is to provide a complete water supply and distribution
system to the district. Project components include wells, pumps,
controls, disinfection facilities, water storage tank, transmission and
distribution pipelines, and appurtenances.
The Carpenter Water and Sewer District has secured commitment for all of
the project funding. The engineer has been hired and design efforts are
underway. The project schedule anticipates completion of all work by
the fall of 1999.

No legislative action is recommended.
