PROJECT INFORMATION:
The North Uinta County Improvement Service District (NUC) is
located 10 miles north of Evanston. The district consists of
six different sections, Whitney Canyon, El Caballo 1, El
Caballo 2, Lower Deer Mountain, Upper Deer Mountain 1, Upper
Deer Mountain 2, and a race tract complex. The sponsor wishes
to analyze the water system serving the two Upper Deer Mountain
(UDM) sections of the district to determine its condition and
longevity. The UDM water system consists of a storage tank and
4 wells. The other sections are on individual wells. The
project should be expanded to include an analyses of water supply
options for all six subsections of the district.
RECOMMENDED LEGISLATIVE ACTION:
The WWDC recommends that the project be incorporated into the New
Development Program at Level I status with an appropriation of
$30,000.
