PROJECT INFORMATION:
The Osage Water District has purchased a well and the water transmission,
distribution, and storage system from Black Hills Power and Light.
The purpose of the project is to install new transmission pipelines , a
new water storage tank and upgrade the distribution pipelines to facilitate
operation of the water system. Funding from WWDC, RUS, and WFLB has been
secured and the engineer has started design phase activities. Construction
is anticipated to begin and be completed in 1999.
RECOMMENDED LEGISLATIVE ACTION:
No legislative action is required for this project.
