PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The town of Glenrock wishes to purchase the supply test well No. 5
drilled under a Level II study conducted in 1999. Construction tasks
would include installation of a pump, pump house, 10,220 feet of 14
inch transmission line, 11,200 feet of powerline, improvements along
the transmission line (air/vacuum valves, blowoffs, roadbase, ravine
crossings, etc.), installation of a PRV building, and SCADA equipment.
RECOMMENDED LEGISLATIVE ACTION:
The WWDC recommends the project be advanced to Level III in the New
Development Program with an appropriation of $1,650,000. In addition,
the town may purchase the test well for $66,800 (40% of cost). The
financing would include a 60% grant for $990,000 and a 40% loan of
$660,000 at 7.25% interest for 20 years.
