PROJECT INFORMATION:
The project would serve 450 residents with 230 taps. The town is concerned
about rapid development within the corporate limits as well as the surrounding
areas. The town has requested WWDC assistance to improve their water supply
system. Alpine has prepared the equivalent of a Level II study with their
own financial resources.
The town's study identified the need for two storage facilities and pipelines.
These new facilities would have the capacity to meet the growing needs of
the town as well as the adjoining subdivisions. In 1995, the final design
and permitting was completed and construction commenced. The project will
be completed in the spring/summer of 1996.
RECOMMENDED LEGISLATIVE ACTION:
No legislative action is needed for this project.
