PROJECT INFORMATION:
The town of Granger would like a master plan study conducted on their
water system to note any deficiencies and to investigate the feasibility
of a new supply source. Granger's treatment plant is quite old and plant
operators must staff it continuously to keep it in proper working order.
Granger currently relies on the FMC Trona plant for its water. FMC pumps
water from the Green River to its plant; Granger then pumps water into
the town's storage tank.
RECOMMENDED LEGISLATIVE ACTION:
The WWDC recommends the project be incorporated into the New Development
Program at Level I with an appropriation of $35,000.
